Chattels Limited Payment Warranty
At Chattels & Partners Limited, your peace of mind is our priority. We have created a payment warranty to ensure that every buyer transaction on our platform is safe, transparent, and protected.
1. Buyer Protection Window
Customers are protected for 48 hours after item delivery. You are encouraged to inspect the item thoroughly and report any issue within 24 hours.
During this time, the seller will not be credited. We will intervene swiftly to address any area of concern.
2. Warranty Coverage
The payment warranty covers the following issues: undisclosed damage or defects, item not as described (wrong item, missing parts, misleading listing), non-functional electronics or appliances, delivery errors or severe delays.
3. Return & Refund Process
If your claim is valid, you will receive a voucher equivalent to the item’s value, redeemable for any other product on Chattels marketplace. Refunds typically take 1-2 weeks from the date of claim approval. Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
4. Claims Due to Buyer Preference
If you change your mind or the item doesn’t meet your expectations, return shipping is at your cost. A 10-15% administrative fee may be applied. You will receive a voucher if the item is returned in good condition.
5. Electronics & Appliances
Buyers must test these within 24 hours of delivery. Defects must be reported with video proof. Chattels will facilitate return and refund or exchange when the claim is verified.
6. What’s Not Covered
Damage caused after delivery, normal wear and tear not disclosed, but evident in photos, and claims made after 48 hours of delivery.
7. Dispute Resolution
We mediate disputes between buyers and sellers by reviewing submitted evidence. Our goal is a fair resolution that ensures customer satisfaction and seller accountability.
