Welcome to Chattels & Partners Limited. Chattels & Partners Limited is (referred to in these Terms as “we”, “us”, and “our”, and we are an incorporated company in Nigeria.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) together with our Privacy Policy and Trademarks Policy govern your access to and use of Chattels’ websites, mobile applications, and other platforms owned or controlled by the company.
Your access to and use of the Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Chattels is an online marketplace and a single-stop destination for used household furniture & appliances, and office furniture & fittings.
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Account” means the CHATTELS Account. You will need to register on our Platform to request for an item.
- “Apps” means our mobile app on iOS and Android.
- “Contract” means you order a Product or Product in accordance with our terms and Conditions while we accept.
- “Customer” Is any individual who places an Order on the Platform.
- “Order” Means your request on the Platform to purchase a Product from us.
- “Acknowledgment of Request” means you get a notification from us acknowledging your order.
- “Platform” Is the combination of CHATTELS Apps and Website, and any other applications owned by us.
- “Product” means any item uploaded for sale by our customers.
- “Website” means our website is www.chattels.ng
- “You” means either a buyer or a seller on our platform
You shall not use the Services:
- In any way that violates any local, national, or other laws or regulations.
- In any way that infringes the rights of any person or entity.
- To distribute advertisements of any kind or post or otherwise communicate any false or misleading material or message of any kind.
- In any way that intentionally or unintentionally harasses, annoys, threatens, or intimidates any other user.
- In any way that promotes or incites, whether intentionally or unintentionally, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind.
- To promote illegal or unlawful activities or in any way which may lead to the encouragement, procurement, or carrying out of any unlawful or criminal activity or which may cause any harm, distress, or inconvenience to any person.
- To access or attempt to access any data of other users of the services or to penetrate any of the security measures relating to the services, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures;
These Terms are the entire and exclusive agreement between Chattels & Partners Limited and you regarding the Services (excluding any services for which you have a separate agreement with Chattels & Partners Limited that is explicitly in addition or in place of these Terms), and these Terms supersede and replace any prior agreements between Chattels & Partners Limited and you regarding the Services.
Registration
a. To place an Order, you must register with us by creating an Account on the Platform. You must also keep your information up to date by informing us of any changes, by using the relevant sections of the Platform.
b. You shall not misuse the Platform by creating multiple user accounts.
Contract Formulation
a. The information set out in the Terms and Conditions and the details contained on this Platform do not constitute an offer for sale but rather an invitation to treat. No Contract in respect of any Products shall exist between you and us until we have delivered the Products to you.
b. To submit an Order, you will be required to follow the online shopping process on the platform. After this, you will receive an acknowledgment that will act as your receipt.
c. A Contract will relate only to those Products which we deliver to you. If your order consists of more than one Product, the Products may be delivered to you in separate packages at separate times.
All right (including copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights), title, and interest in and to the Services and the Content (excluding Content provided by users of the Services) including but not limited to all information, data, text, maps, graphics, the “look and feel”, logos, icons, trademarks, images, video clips, sound clips, editorial content, notices, data compilations, page layout, selection or arrangement of the contents of the Services, and the underlying code and software in the Services are and will remain the exclusive property of Chattels and its licensors.
Chattels & Partners Limited is a registered trademark. Both the trademark and the Chattels & Partners Limited logo are owned by us and cannot be used without our prior written consent. Nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use the Chattels & Partners Limited name or any of the Chattels & Partners Limited trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features.
Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding Chattels & Partners Limited, or the Services is entirely voluntary and Chattels & Partners Limited will be free to use such feedback, comments, or suggestions as it sees fit and without any obligation to you.
You may print off one copy and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Services for your reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organization to material posted on our Services.
We reserve the unconditional right to suspend, withdraw, terminate, amend, or restrict access to some parts of the Services, or to the Services entirely, to you at any time immediately without notice for any reason, including (without limitation) in circumstances where;
- we have reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorized or fraudulent use of the services.
- we reasonably suspect that you have not complied with these Terms & Conditions
- we reasonably suspect a breach of confidentiality or infringement of our intellectual property rights by you or a third party.
On termination of these Terms (for whatever reason), all licenses and rights granted to you in relation to the Services shall immediately end.
