What is Chattels & Partners Limited Return Policy?
Chattels operates an inventory-free platform where sellers keep possession of their items while we facilitate pick-up and delivery of the items after a successful sale.
Customers are encouraged to book an appointment for inspection whenever they are in doubt or not convinced about the quality, functionality, or durability of an item displayed on the platform.
We only charge ₦5,000 for the inspection, which involves connecting an intending buyer to a seller. Inspections should be done during the day and in an open environment. This is necessary for the safety of both the buyer and the seller.
Issues related to returned items must be communicated to us within 48 hours after the item has been delivered. This is to enable us to get in touch with the seller on time and to also delay crediting the seller before the 72-hours settlement period for our sellers.
Reasons for Returned Items
There are so many reasons why a customer can decide to return an item. Below are some of the reasons:
1. Damaged or defective item: Customers may receive a faulty item or one that is damaged, which could have occurred either on the seller side or during the shipping process.
2. Did not meet expectations: Something about the product does not meet the customer’s expectations; for instance, the quality, features, price-to-value ratio, etc.
3. Changed mind or impulse purchase: Sometimes customers simply change their minds or regret making an impulse purchase.
4. Wrong order: A mistake is made on the seller side and the customer receives the wrong items or an item missing from the order.
5. Delivery delays: Lengthy shipping or delivery delays can frustrate customers or cause the item to arrive later than it was required, making it no longer necessary.
6. Misleading product information: Customers may receive a faulty item or one that is damaged, which could have occurred either on the seller side or during the shipping process.
7. Unacceptable customer service: Poor customer service experiences, such as unhelpful representatives, long wait times or unresponsive communication.
How long does it take for refund?
It usually takes between 1-2 weeks to get your refunds
How will you get your money back?
We’ll give you a voucher which is in equal amount to the refunded amount so you can use it to shop for any other quality product of your choice.
